An employee in Dhanusha District Court has been fired from her job for sharing a link in Facebook. Gunja Raya, who shared a news of "Constitution day marked as black day in Province no 2" has been relieved of her duty.

Speaking in a press conference, she said that she had been fired directly without any clarification. She opined that she shared the link, but it was not her personal opinion.

She expressed grief for being relieved of duty without any clarification needed.

The new constitution of Nepal implemented from 17th August 2018 has made provision to arrest any person involved in link sharing of news against government or portraying cartoon character of political leaders with high dignitaries. The law even more restricts government employees to use Facebook at office.
